1997 Deep Sea Fishing Trip

Please forgive the crudeness of this page. Kurt sent me the pictures about a week ago, and Maureen finally took them to school to scan them for me yesterday. I could spend a lot of time with these images in Photoshop to make them look nicer and properly rotate them, etc. Maybe I will in the future, but for now, I just wanted to throw something together for a few memories - and good laughs! - Steve

Steve and the Guys!

MIKE: (Center) "Okay, I'm about to tell you a story of the fishing trip as I remember it."
BILL: (Left) "It's a good thing we're wearing shorts; it's already getting deep out here!"
STEVE: (Right) "Just remember, I'm doing the web page, so I get the final say!"

Bill Catching a Blue!

Billy Ryan strikes first! Actually, Steve had the first bite... but couldn't hook the fish. As you can see, Bill's stock pile of fish is mounting early. Meanwhile, Mike (in the background) complains of foul play as someone has tangled his line.

Steve's Catch!

Did Steve catch another one? Or, is he helping his "Uncle" Mike take the hook out? YOU MAKE THE CALL!

Looking Desparate!

KURT: "Really guys.... I know my fish is bigger than that 4 foot Dolphin! What do you think?"
DUDE: (Background) "Look at that Dork pose with a bait fish!"

Mike's Dream!

MIKE: "Look guys, no knife! I told you I wasn't afraid to hold the fish with my bare hands! I'm gonna throw number eight here into my pile - Kurt will probably try to claim it as his later..."

Kurt's Big One!

Okay, reality check... This was Kurt's fish! Great job Kurt!

Mike and the Guys!

MIKE: "Steve, make sure you're web page shows Kurt with that tiny bait fish, and me with a really big fish!"
BILL: "Here we go again...."

On the Boat

MIKE: "Hmmm..... It looks like I'll have bragging rights of catching the most fish for a whole year. I can just see Steve's web page now....."
BILL: "Steve, Can I help edit the web page???"

Mike's Dream2!

MIKE: "Look at the size of this one! You should have seen the one that got away!"

Kurt's Fish!

Okay, another reality check: Here is Kurt with another pose with his biggest fish.

On the Dock!

Kurt's fish weighs in just onces smaller than the largest fish on the boat - Good Job Kurt!
GUY IN WHITE BOOTS: "You see boys, 'Uncle' Mike caught the most fish (eight) today because he let me give him lessons for the first two hours of the trip!"
